Nazim Ali is Global Co-Head of eCommerce and Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) Sales and Solutions for J.P. Morgan Payments. Payments is a business that combines cash management, payment solutions, transactional foreign exchange and merchant services.
Based out of Singapore, Nazim and his co-head are responsible for developing the business growth strategy, sales and solutioning efforts for the eCommerce and TMT industry segment across the Payments business.
Before J.P. Morgan, Nazim was CEO, Singapore and SVP Head of Platform Sales and Strategy for Asia Pacific at Airwallex. Prior to Airwallex, Nazim joined Adyen in 2016 in commercial roles culminating as Head of Sales, Asia Pacific where he and his team engaged clients from a range of verticals including digital, travel and retail to define solutions for their current and future payments strategy.
Nazim began his career at Citi for the first nine years in roles across Smith Barney, Risk Management, Corporate Banking, and Markets. In his last role, Nazim built up Citi InstantFX – a multi-currency pricing (MCP) solution for efficient hedging of client FX exposures – for Citi’s Asia Pacific Markets business.
Nazim holds a bachelor of science in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and enjoys his spare time with his wife and two children.
