Mireia is the Global CIO of EDP Renewables, with more than seventeen years´ experience in the technology and digital space leading and managing international teams in multiple geographies primary in Europe, United States, China, Canada and AME countries. During her career in the multinationals PepsiCo, Heineken and Accenture she has garnered experience in applied leadership and building winning teams with different cultures and backgrounds.
Mireia describes herself as a firm optimist and passionate about digital transformation and the power of diverse talent which is key to foster collaboration, innovation and accelerate energy transition with the main goal to leave a better quality of life for current and future generations.
Mireia holds a degree in Business Administration from ESADE, an MBA from the University of HEC Paris, she is the Chair of Digitalization workstream at SolarPower Europe, active member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, and mentor of STEM Women and Women in Mobile.
