Matthias Lidén is a business-minded engineer who gets energized by sustainable change and adapting reality to new situations – both from a personal and professional perspective. He has more than 19 years of experience within Ericsson in various positions, primarily within Sourcing and Supply, located in Sweden (Borås, Gothenburg and Stockholm), China (Nanjing), Brazil (Sao Jose dos Campos) and the USA (Dallas).
Lidén led the implementation of Ericsson’s USA 5G Smart Factory and Ericsson’s end-to-end supply chains in South and North America, including industrialization of new products, supply chain responsibility, production and customer contract fulfillment. With over 15 years’ experience in supply chain management through various positions in Sweden, China, Brazil and the US, his focus is to continuously secure that the supply chain is a competitive advantage. His focus is on connecting the e2e supply chains to build ‘smartness’ into the supply chain by implementing key elements of Industry 4.0.
Lidén holds an engineering degree from the University of Borås in Sweden and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis in the United States.
