Speaker Bio

A recognised industry leader, Mahadhir Aziz has a proven track record of over two decades in various industries including Financial Services, Energy (Oil and Gas), Information Technology and Media, serving established global and local organisations such as Deloitte Consulting, Kodak, PETRONAS and AmInvestment Bank.
He was previously the co-founder and CEO of Futurise, an agency under the Ministry of Finance mandated to drive the National Regulatory Sandbox (NRS), since its establishment in 2017. Mahadhir is a passionate digital change agent and has contributed, pro bono, on various industry initiatives as well as with university and school programmes in the areas of arts and STEM.
An avid fitness enthusiast, Mahadhir holds a B.Sc. Computer Science from Lakehead University with a Minor in Business and is also a registered professional with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).
