Speaker Bio

Lluís Juncà holds a Telecommunications Engineer degree from the Polytechnic University of
Catalonia, has studied a MBA in ESADE and an executive management program at the
London School of Economics. He has experience as a consultant in the private sector and he
has worked in the European Parliament as a political adviser. He has also been Chief of Staff
to the Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament of Catalonia and Director of the Office of
the Vice-President and Minister of Economy of the Catalan Government. He has held
executive positions in the Catalan Government, as Director General of Economic Promotion
for the last 3 years and, currently, he is the Director General of Innovation and
Entrepreneurship.
