Speaker Bio

Len Welter is the Global Product Head for Bloomberg’s Professional App platform. He started his career at Bloomberg in 2016 as the product manager for Bloomberg Message and transitioned to running the Bloomberg Professional App in 2018. Based in New York, Len is responsible for the overall strategy and development of the Bloomberg Professional App, ensuring that clients can stay connected and get the data and information they need while away from their desks.

Prior to arriving at Bloomberg, Len held several executive-level positions in product management and data science at Markit, served as Chief Technology Officer for Data Explorers, and led trading desk automation programs as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley in London. Based in New York, Len is responsible for the overall strategy and development of the Bloomberg Professional App. This includes working closely with Mobile Product, Engineering and Design as well with teams across Bloomberg to ensure that clients are getting the data and information they need while away from the Terminal. Len holds an MBA from London Business School and a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Economics from Assumption University.
