Speaker Bio
Mr. Martín is a Senior Executive with more than 25 years experience in strategy, management and IT consulting, in Telecommunications and Digital Companies. He has led mergers within several Tier-1 Telecom Operators, and has also defined and implemented digital services for Global Telecoms and digital transformation programs for Telecoms and Banking.
He is especially proud of being deputy CEO in the launch of Telecom NewCo, considered a World's Best Practice, and has designed and implemented IT Transformation programs for Top Ten Airline companies and Telco operators. He has worked across Europe, America, and Asia, delivering projects for such leading companies as Telefonica Group, T-Mobile, Docomo, Vodafone, Orange, Pepephone, MasMóvil, Entel, América Móvil, British Telecom, Colt, Latam Airlines, Bankia, and others.
Jesús has held leadership roles in NTT DATA and everis, as Head of Telecom Business Consulting Europe & Americas, Global Head of Digital, and is currently leading Business Development for Telecom & Media. His current focus is on helping tier-1 clients transform their businesses, supported by new technologies and business models
He is a professor in the Department of Business Tech at IE Business School, teaching senior-level business professionals to “up-skill” via an Executive Masters in Digital Transformation & Innovation Leadership. He has also been a guest lecturer at other institutions, including Imperial College London.
Jesús is a speaker and adviser to World Telecom Forums, at MWC and Futurecom, and is active in the business and economic press in mainstream media, such as WSJ, Expansion, and Actualidad Económica.
