Jean-François is a partner at Cathay Innovation global VC firm. He leads Cathay’s future-of-commerce vertical. Working out of its Paris office, Jean-François has helped develop Cathay’s investment practice across France, Spain and Germany, growing its European team from 2 to 15 people since joining in 2015. After leading Glovo’s Series B in 2017, Cathay Innovation supported strong revenue growth for on-demand delivery application Glovo which was bought by Delivery Hero in July 2022 – marking the largest exit ever for a Spanish startup. Other Cathay’s notable investments in Europe include Wallbox, Owkin, Descartes Underwriting, Ledger, Inato, Alma, Alkemics, Drivy.
