Ignasi is a founding partner of the Spanish law firm RCD, one of the fastest growing law firms with a team made up of over 45 partners and 500 professionals in Spain, which forms a part of the global business, DWF. He is also the coordinating partner of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship area, which includes the start-up, venture capital, corporate venturing, and academic spin-off practices.
Ignasi has extensive and in-depth experience providing legal and tax advice to entrepreneurs, particularly in the development, financing, and internationalisation of their business projects, as well as advising both domestic and international investors. His vast expertise covers both the business and legal perspectives (from corporate to intellectual property and technological transfer, including taxation and incentives). The practice he leads is distinguished year after year as the best practice for start-ups and recognised as the most active practice in venture capital transactions for Southern Europe.
Recognised by the most prestigious international legal directories, Ignasi is a member of the Board of Directors of several technology-based companies. He is a licensed attorney and an author of several publications related to his fields of expertise and knowledge. Ignasi completed graduate studies at UCLA, UC Davis, and Harvard, and is part of the distinguished Advisory Board of Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession in addition to being a Former CodeX Fellow of Stanford University. He has spoken in numerous events and conferences all over the world, promoting innovation and sharing his knowledge of the sector.
