With over a decade of experience leading strategy, product, and commercial teams in the telco and fintech industries, Ian Estrada is a pioneer in the digital microcredit market in SEA, driven to serve the underbanked and unbanked populations.

Ian is the Co-founder and CEO of XLD Finance. He leads the team in building a Web3 financial ecosystem focusing on emerging markets.

Previously he founded Foundry Partners, a boutique end-to-end consulting firm specializing in product development, software engineering, and regulation/compliance. Prior to this, he was the founding COO of JG Digital Equity Ventures, the corporate VC arm of the JG Summit Group, a $10B+ diversified conglomerate in the Philippines, responsible for investing in early to mid-stage startups in SEA. In fintech, he focused on managing microcredit products and growing loan portfolios.

He was the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives at Cashalo/Oriente (founded by ex-Lu.com/Ping An veterans) and the VP of Consumer Lending at GCash (an Alibaba/Ant Financial company). In telco, he was a senior member of the strategy team of the Philippines' leading telco, Globe Telecom, where he delivered enterprise-wide programs focusing on mobile prepaid, consumer lifecycle management, MVNO, loyalty, and customer experience.
