Heather Figallo

Speaker Bio

Heather Figallo (United States) joined Vueling in September 2019 as
Director of Transformation. In 2022, Heather was asked to join
Vueling´s Management Committee as Chief Transformation Officer.
Heather has more than 25 years of experience in transformation
across commercial, digital, communications, and marketing fields at
advertising agencies and renowned multinationals in the United States.


After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from
Stephen F. Austin State University (Texas, USA), she spent time in
Dallas working in corporate roles, technology consulting and later
developing and executing commercial and digital strategies for
prestigious brands such as Hasbro, Coca Cola, Nestlé or American
Airlines as part of marketing agencies such as McCann Worldwide´s
Dallas office, Omnicom and WPP agencies.


In 2014 she joined Southwest Airlines, largest low-cost airlines in the
world based in Texas, as Senior Director of Innovation, Design and
Entrepreneurship for a 5-year period, leading a human centered
innovation strategy to inspire and accelerate change.


In her final year working for Southwest Airlines, she won an IDEA Gold
Award, one of the longest-running and most prestigious international
design award programs with a design of a digital wayfinding prototype.
During her professional career, she has a proven track record of
producing excellent results in consulting, agency and corporate
environments. She also describes her contribution to the team as a
person with abilities to solve complex abstract problems, take in new
information and come up with the right solution.


Figallo has also been involved with the Marketing Council of the
United Way of Metropolitan Dallas for over 12 years, both as a
volunteer and as a member. The association fights for the health,
education, and economic stability of everyone in the community. She
has led diversity and inclusion efforts and spoken on this and other
topics across the world.
