His Excellency Dr. Eng. Ghazi Aljobor is the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners & Chief Executive Officer at Telecommunications Regulatory Commission since June 2015. H.E. holds Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of International Islamic Sciences, M.Sc. degree in electronic systems engineering from the Cranfield University of Engineering Technology in the United Kingdom in 1992, and a B.Sc. degree in Communications Engineering with first class honors from Salford University in the United Kingdom in 1978.
Dr. Aljobor has a long experience spanning more than three decades during which he held many military positions, most notably Director General of the Special Communications Authority, Commander of Prince Faisal Technical College, Director of Electronic Warfare in the Royal Jordanian Air Force, and on the political level, his appointment as a member of the twenty-fourth Jordanian Senate during the period 2010-2011. In addition to his assignment to manage a number of important projects in the field of communications and information technology, including the National Frequency Spectrum Monitoring Project, the TETRA Communication Network Project (TETRA), the Electronic Border Security Project, the Communication Systems Modernization Project, Frequency Monitoring and Air Navigation, and other important national projects.
