German Martinez Del Olmo is Managing Director at Amazon Advertising in Spain. Since joining Amazon in 2013, he has contributed to the growth of the advertising business for the company with the launch of many advertising products innovations, which has led to complete a full portfolio of solutions that cover awareness to performance display solutions, available for any brand. As Managing Director, he works with global top brands and their agencies to prepare and deliver on their ecommerce strategies.
He has worked in digital advertising, media and technology for 20 years. Prior to Amazon, he developed the sales teams at Facebook for three years being one of the first employees for Facebook in Spain, and helped grow up to 1 billion unique users. Prior to that, German led sales teams at Microsoft for over five years. He has worked with top brands like P&G, Nestle, Heineken, Bacardi, Nissan, Renault, amongst others, helping them to achieve their marketing goals.
Germán has a BA from EUEE in Marketing and Economics in Barcelona, and has participated in masterclasses as speaker.
