Gerd Weiner is the Founder and CEO of B1 SmartTV GmbH. Since 2018, he has focused his company on the development of smart TV solutions and the convergence of smart TV and smartphone networking. In partnership with the global leader in consumer electronics and smartphones, he developed the sports aggregation platform "Sportworld," available on several million Samsung smart TVs and Android and iOS smartphones in Germany. Since 2021, more than 100 sports events have been streamed using a patented multi-view technology. Gerd Weiner holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and has over 30 years of expertise from notable consumer electronics companies such as Samsung, Loewe, and Thomson in national and international sales and marketing management positions.
