Mrs. FANG Min earned her Ph.D. degree in the department of electronic engineering of Tsinghua University in 1999. She joined ZTE Corporation in 2004 and focused on next-generation wireless research, standardization, and IPR breakthrough works. She completed all the standardization works of 3GPP LTE Release 8 by leading ZTE’s FDD and EPC standard team. She pioneered ZTE’s 5G early research works contributing the industry-leading massive MIMO awarded as CTO Choice and Best Mobile Technology Breakthrough in MWC 2016. Currently, Dr. Fang is the chief engineer of 6G research planning in the ZTE’s Wireless Division. She is coordinating ZTE’s 6G early research on wireless-native services building a Green Tech paradigm towards a sustainable 6G.
