Chris Weasler oversees special initiatives for Meta Connectivity. Since joining Meta in 2012, Chris has led work on a number of key initiatives including spectrum and connectivity policy, the launch of Internet.org, and partnerships with mobile operators. In addition, he founded Meta’s connectivity crisis response program, providing connectivity support for Ebola workers in West Africa, refugees in Europe and the Middle East, hurricane survivors in the Caribbean, and migrants in Latin America. Before joining Meta, Chris helped launch the first wireless PDA at Palm, led product and business development at OmniSky, and held a range of senior operational roles including at LightSquared and Sprint Nextel. Early in his career, Chris coded custom software for telco clients at Accenture, and provided strategic consulting services to international telco clients at KPMG. He has an undergraduate degree from Marquette University and an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School.
