Speaker Bio

Benoît Jouffrey serves as the Vice President for 5G Expertise responsible for the definition of the 5G strategy and coordination of 5G activities of Thales Digital Identity and Security Global Business Unit.

Prior to the Thales acquisition of Gemalto, Benoît was Vice President Connectivity and Embedded Solutions, in charge of the eSE and eSIM products and solutions.

He was previously the Vice President for machine-to- machine (M2M) value-added services from 2010 to 2013 responsible for all cards and services delivered to the M2M / IoT market.

Benoît was based in Overath (Germany) from 2009-2010, supervising the Gemalto Digital Life Management software activities. He was also the Vice President, Strategy & Development for the Gemalto Telecom Business Unit in charge of the telecom strategy and long range plan. He has held various sales management positions at Gemplus previously.

Prior to 1999, Benoît was with Credit Agricole Indosuez (formerly Banque Indosuez).
