Alberto is Managing Partner of Adara Ventures, a venture capital firm managing US$200 million in capital and dedicated to early-stage investments in digital enterprise technology start-ups. Adara focuses on companies led by ambitious teams with domain expertise, tackling B2B market opportunities with global potential, and where a product differentiation can be sustained. For example, cybersecurity, cloud computing infrastructure, enterprise IT/software, data & analytics, etc. Geographically, the firm covers Western Europe, with an emphasis on Spain.
Investments include AlienVault (acquired by AT&T), Playgiga (acquired by Facebook), ADD Semiconductor (acquired by Microchip), Stratio, Constella Intelligence, CounterCraft, 42Crunch, and XYZ Reality.
Alberto has a degree in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is originally from Venezuela and lived in U.S. for 20 years before coming to Spain.
