Abdul Qadeer has nine years of rich experience in both the corporate and development sectors. While born with vision impairment, he faced many challenges, and with all the hurdles in his way, he earned a graduate degree in International Relations with a distinction of Gold medallist. Abdul is now a Co-founder of DeafTawk and working as Chief Operating Officer. He is also a member of the CXC disability ChangemakerExchange Singapore 2019 program. Abdul always enjoys working for the empowerment of persons with disabilities. As a social activist, he sometimes volunteers in capacity building of persons with disabilities, particularly blind and deaf people, so that they can take full and active participation in all walks of life, he also worked with IDA as a UNCRPD expert. Abdul has turned this concept of social welfare into an impact business, where he is working for the empowerment of the deaf community through sign language interpretation. In just 4 Years, DeafTawk has scaled its business in 5 different countries and achieved various awards of international recognition.
