Session Description

With over 23 million connected devices projected by 2025, networks are managing an increasing number of access points and threats. As the networks become more open the need for well-planned and constructed network security design is essential. A robust security design must fit like the layers of a cake, securing the underlying network and then every layer above it. It must eradicate inherent security weaknesses and minimize gaps within the infrastructure that are vulnerable to attacks. Network operators MUST work together to deal with the threats that could destroy network reliability, but who owns the security design, who bares the costs and maintains equipment, and ultimately who is responsible for any potential breaches?
