16:20-16:50: Rethinking the way we eat
The livestock sector is responsible for approximately 14.5% of all human-induced greenhouse gas emissions, according to a report by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). This makes it one of the largest contributors to the climate crisis.
This session features innovative startup founders developing solutions and alternatives for animal protein production, to reduce the carbon footprint of our diets.

16:50-17:20: Disrupting The way we move
The International Energy Agency (IEA) explains that in 2018, transportation accounted for over 70% of total oil consumption and nearly one-quarter of energy-related carbon dioxide emissions. A report by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) states that the global shipping industry is responsible for approximately 2-3% of total global greenhouse gas emissions, the same as the country of Germany.
This session brings together startups and investors working to shape the future of mobility and transportation to reduce carbon emissions as well as have a positive impact on decarbonization. They will argue and showcase why it is critical to rethink the way we move to tackle this and other problems.
