An arising set of internet-based services is increasing the demand for broadband access and the importance of mobile connectivity in our daily life. To meet the growing broadband needs, telecom operators are expected to invest $900 billion in their networks over the period to 2025. With the demand for high-speed, high-quality internet increasing, is it time to review traditional financing models and regulatory levers that enable a broad range of contributors and incentives within tax and licensing? This session will look for opportunities across the digital sector to re-align on shared priorities and responsibilities to overcome the connectivity challenge.
