Mobile money has become a mainstream financial service, driving financial inclusion for millions of people. Once a crucial innovation in and of itself, mobile money continues to rely heavily on innovations to drive safety, sustainability and inclusivity, especially for underrepresented and underserved groups like women.

As the digital financial services space continues to rapidly develop and evolve, providing a regulatory framework that protects both consumers, and allows for new technology to be tested and flourish is key.

Join the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for this session exploring how technological innovation can improve inclusion and help close the gender gap; from harmonisation and interoperability to tackling fraud and safety concerns. Come learn more about the role of regulation in driving safe and inclusive innovation.
