Session Description
The Catalan Data Protection Authority organizes a conference to analyze the specific challenges of the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies from an ethical point of view. Discrimination, inappropriate uses of facial recognition, unethical practices in e-commerce are some of the problems that AI presents. In particular, we will discuss about the state of the technology, regulations, cultural differences, cognitive biases, and we will also ask ourselves what we can do to face these challenges in the near future.
