Hello Barcelona! We’re at the venue, and the build-up looks amazing so far.
We’ve seen MWC19 signs at the airport, purple and pink banners flapping in the wind on street poles, and even commercials on the TV. The city is starting to swell with workers commuting to the venue. It feels like we are about to be a part of something tremendous. There is an electricity in the air and it’s definitely contagious.
At the airport: Badge collection was a breeze, there was hardly a queue. Be sure to pick up your badge there if you’re flying into Barcelona, its fast and effortless. Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to get it off your to-do list!
In the metro: Utilise the free metro pass you will receive with your badge for a freebie journey around the city. It’s a great way to get around Barcelona for the event or for anything else you’d like to do while you’re here. Tapas and sangria anyone?
In our hotel: Once we settled into our rooms, we turned on the television. Fun fact: MWL TV will be playing in more than 200 hotels this year! So you can catch up with all the action even in the few hours you’re not at Fira. Follow #MWLTV for all the updates!
At the venue: Stay up-to-date onsite by signing up for SMS notifications and ensure that notifications are enabled on the event app.
See you soon!
